Chasing the Last Light
I took this photograph during a vacation in the Philippines in July 2026, where I paused to watch a fisherman making his way across the water at sunset. The golden light, quiet ripples, and solitary silhouette captured a peaceful moment that reminded me how beauty can be found in the simplest journeys home.
I am Rio, a Filipino teacher and storyteller who finds beauty in the simplest things. Living in Tampa, I have learned to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the moments others might overlook.
