In earnest

I went to the beach one day with my family in New Buffalo MI. We were on our second day of vacation, when around 11 am a storm came rolling in. We had to pack up our beach set up, which was not an easy task, due to the fact that the police had come to the beach to warn everyone we had to leave, hail was on its way. We packed in earnest, ran to the car, as we were running I had to stop. Something caught my eye, the lighthouse, shining bright against the darkness of the sky, like a horror movie.
