Edgar the Egret
The elegant Egret stands in serene stillness at the edge of the tranquil water, its pure white plumage gleaming in the soft, golden sunlight of dawn. With its slender, graceful neck poised like a question mark, the Egret's image is mirrored perfectly in the calm, glassy surface below, creating a symmetrical tableau of natural beauty. Its beady, watchful eyes survey the shimmering aquatic world, patiently awaiting the slightest movement that might betray the presence of an unsuspecting fish.
I am a nature lover drawn to wild birds of all kinds. I’m currently self publishing a children’s book about a community of birds. I have two grown children and two beautiful granddaughters, one in college and one in middle school. They keep me happy!
