Tornado’s Legacy of Assateague
This is one my favorite photo’s I’ve captured while visiting the Assateague Wildlife Refuge on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
Born April 03, 2007. He is the son of Tornado and Unci.
A wild stallion living on the island of Assateague, he is one of the most beautiful ponies on the island. Proud. Protective of his family. Everytime I am able to visit I hope I will get the chance to see Legacy and his band. There is just something magical about the wild ponies of Assateague. Their spirit and beauty is unmatched.

I am 55 years young. Still just as horse crazy as I was when I was little. I work for Newport News Shipbuilding, have two adult children who I am proud of and I am a cruise ship addict to my core.
