Janet's Lilies
This photo was taken in Lovell, Maine at Kezar Lake. Kezar Lake has a large abundance of water lilies floating on its surface. After taking photos of the floating flowers for an hour I grabbed my scuba mask and dove in to see what kind of fish were swimming below. To my amazement when I glanced up I saw this spectacular sight. Sunlight was hitting the green pads revealing their complex veins; rays of light penetrated the spaces between each lily pad and refracted through the clear blue water.
Eric Lax was recruited to play baseball at The University of Tampa. After his second season, he had to hang up his cleats due to injuries. Fortunately, during his second semester of college he turned to his second love photography where he began focusing on photographing nature and wildlife.
