Mr. Woodpecker
This Pileated Woodpecker is the largest of Woodpeckers. They measure 16 to 19 inches, with a wing span of 26 to 30 inches. This is the first year Mr. Woodpecker has visited me. He is only interested in the suet. It’s always a pleasant surprise!

East Texas is filled with Pine and Oak trees, lakes, woods, open range filled with a variety of critters. I love God, America, people, animals, and nature. As a retired art teacher, I appreciate the beauty around us.
