This is a broad-tailed hummingbird I photographed in northern Arizona feeding on cactus blossoms
I grew up in Colorado City surrounded by wild places that inspired a lifelong passion for wildlife and public lands. After buying my first camera from a pawn shop for $250, photography became my way of sharing the beauty of the natural world and encouraging others to protect it.
