There's two times a year that the Atlantic ocean lights up off the Jersey coast with a migratory phenomenon. During early spring and late fall thousands of birds and Cetaceans make their yearly pilgrimage, north in the spring and south in the fall. This photo was captured in Seaside Heights, NJ about the second week of October right off the beach. The Humpback, the biggest I have ever seen, breached again and again while delighting all those who watched from the sand.
I am a local wildlife photographer from New Jersey with a burning passion to capture, pass along and educate my fellow human beings about the fragility of our environment.
