This is a picture of the famous Pilot Mountain in NC. This is near Mt. Airy, the homeplace of ANDY GRIFFITH. . Andy referenced many local sites in the Andy Griffith Show. He and characters referred to this location and town as MT. PILOT.

Married 47 years to my wonderful best friend. We have 2 daughters, 2 sons in law, and 4 precious grandchildren. Retired from teaching 35 years. I still have my first car; a 1967 VW my wonderful dad gave me while in college in 1972. We enjoy the scenery of NC while riding our Harley Davidson.
