Where Light Finds Light

I captured the Buck Moon during Leo Season as it rose beside Raley Chapel on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Raley Chapel has been part of the landscape of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents, my sister, and I each attended OBU, making this place central to our family story across generations.
On this evening, as my personal journey navigated a dark and stormy path, the moon rising beside the illuminated chapel reminded me that light forever shines brightest in the darkness. Two familiar lights—one above Bison Hill and one at its heart—came together in the place where, decades earlier, I began and ended my college journey. In that moment, they reminded me that my story is not defined by the current crisis. This moment in time felt both peaceful and timeless. I was fortunate enough to have my camera ready.
