Never forget
Standing in Jersey City, on 9/11/2017, as the sun begins to fade over lower Manhattan. Nothing can prepare you for this view. It takes your breath away. I sat and thought about the many lives lost just 16 years earlier, but then thought this must be their Heaven. Quiet, still, shadows, sunlight, contrast, beauty. Magnificent.
I'm a mother and grandmother at 58 years young! I have been a makeup artist and retail executive for 25years. My first trip to New York City was in September 2017. I was overwhelmed with emotion when I took this photo. It was 9/11/17 and standing on the Hudson took my breath away!
