My Favorite Graduation Date 🐾🎓

After years of hard work, I finally earned my bachelor’s degree in social work, and there was no one I’d rather have beside me for my graduation photos than Remi. Earlier this year, I lost Roxi, my soul dog and best friend of almost 14 years. My heart was shattered, and then this goofy little girl came into my life and slowly began helping me patch the pieces back together.
Remi is fun, loving, playful, and gives the absolute BEST snuggles. 🥰
Even though Roxi could never be replaced, Remi has taught me that even on the hardest and most painful days, love, happiness, and joy can still exist.
To me, this photo captures two beautiful new beginnings: stepping into a new chapter after earning my bachelor’s degree, and sharing it with the little girl who helped bring laughter, love, and joy back into my heart. ❤️🐾🎓
