Gossamer Forest
Early morning on the trail at Letchworth State Park captures the fragile and gentle beauty of nature. The sun breaking through the trees creates an otherworldly effect on the atmosphere shared by trees and the random chipmunk. The sun's rays expose the delicate spiderwebs weaved overnight, dotting the forest floor. A moment captured when I stopped to breathe in the early morning mist.
I am a mother of three, educator of over 20 years, volunteer. In my free time, you can find me hiking, reading, restoring my old truck, and making art. I keep busy doing volunteer work with the Finger Lakes Trail Conference as a cartographer, Regional Trail Coordinator, and Ambassador.
