Walking into the light

Having just weeks before survived a triple by-pass open heart emergency surgery, the learning to breathe again was a challenging journey.i asked my husband, Len, to take this fantastic photo of me under my favorite pines just as the sun was setting. It was a spiritual moment for me to have walked there( 10 minutes away) and standing under the scent and beauty of those pines with the sun behind me felt like a message of great hope! I’m beyond grateful to be alive!

I am a 69 year old woman. Besides my recent triple bypass open heart surgery, I’ve battled multiple bouts of cancer, and had and lost a beautiful special needs daughter. But I feel soo grateful. I have a loving supportive husband 2 amazing daughters family, music and my art. What more can one need?
