Smiling Dragonfly
A dragonfly seemingly posing and smiling for me . He remained still for an extended period of time, which is unusual. The picture was taken in the garden area behind a hospice facility. My mother was a patient there at the time. It's as if the dragonfly was there as a symbol of peace and comfort. The garden was a tranquil setting.
I enjoy photography as a hobby and as a creative outlet. Some of my photos are from day trips. Others are random. They're mainly taken outdoors. Occasionally, I'll take an interest in a subject and try something different. Examples are cars, trains, and antiques. I'm located in Georgia. .
