Magic Hour After the Rain
It was a brisk fall day with moody skies and winds. After a beautiful lunch at a historic colonial inn in Massachusetts, I decided to walk, while others drove a short distance to see an old grist mill. As I began to walk along the wooded trail, the skies darkened, and it began pour. Just as quickly as the rain began, the clouds disappeared, and a brilliant light lit up the entire view and made everything glisten and shine. It was quite a magic moment!
Well, I am a New England native who loves to be out in the woods or by the sea. I love to observe local wildlife around me and enjoy visits to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, to see the wild ponies of Assateague. I enjoy singing and walking a little dog named Petey that my friends graciously share.
