Family Fun

This is my favorite photo of my brother Dan, his daughter Tasha and her children, Austin and Mikayla. Tasha and I had just returned from a Carribean cruise in 2011, and Dan had driven to Texas from Illinois to celebrate Christmas with his family and to drive me back to Illinois. The love is obvious. The smiling faces are proof of the fun we were having as we kidded around. This brief moment in time lives in my heart, and thankfully, I have this photo to remind me of this happy occasion.

I'm a children's book author from Central Illinois. Although I have no children, I have several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. My published picture books are The Memory Jar, and Cows Can't Be Clowns. When not writing, I enjoy cozy mysteries and visits with family.
