Escape on the Range
This photo was taken in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. When the rest of the world seemed to be shut down, farmers and ranchers were still busy taking care of livestock. When this photo was snapped, the cows had gotten out from their pasture and needed to be put back in, especially before night fall. As my mother and I were herding a large herd of cattle, the strolled across a beautiful backdrop of the Colorado sunset. I dropped to the ground, camera in hand, and snapped the photo.
I am a small business owner in Colorado, originally from Lander, Wyoming. My hobbies include sketching, painting, creative writing and photography. I began photography when I was approximately 10 years old, when my family and I would take weeks long horse pack trips into the Wind River Mountains.
