Rural Appalachia
I had stopped to photograph the horse in the background, then the pony came up to nuzzle me at the gate. So I made a few shots of him and it was the best photo of the day.

I became interested in photography during a fifth grade field trip. Since then I became more serious and have worked for two newspapers and freelanced for numerous magazines. now I simply shoot my own stuff and work at art festivals.
