Home In The Valley
When I left this place to work overseas, it took 15 years to go back and visit. I took this photo during that vacation in 2017, from the top of the mountain overlooking this valley cradled by that winding river. I cherished this moment and photo because in late 2025, a very strong typhoon hit my village, took lives and properties, that forever changed the landscape, which will take years to bring it back close to this view. Being away makes the heart fonder.
I am a wife and a mom of one. I love taking photos of nature and anything that tickles my interest. I work in the cafeteria services in our local school district. Spending time outdoors gives me joy, and I intend to do more walking and exploring before I am no longer able.
