I am a hearing impaired Charlotte native dialysis patient awaiting kidney transplant. Photography is my heart. ASL is my first language, but I speak more as I embrace improved-quality hearing through cochlear implant that helps me to hear better. The loss of hearing strengthens my eye for art.
