Path of Least Resistance

I was fortunate enough to capture this lightning strike as I waited patiently during a wicked storm.
I was intrigued by the dwindling streak as its energy stretched and narrowed towards a specific unseen destination. Taken in Oklahoma City circa 2021 and a few months later I lost my brother to suicide. Perhaps the heavens were grieving ahead of time and needed to make room for his soul’s arrival.
