Star Spangled Celebration
This is a lighthouse I have painted for a city wide contest . It shows some scenes of a Fourth of July celebration, and some things I like about my city. The 9’ tall lighthouse stands by our lake and has been on display for two years now. This evening picture reflects the beuty of our town and lake.

I am a retired college professor of languages and literatures, now fully [and successfully!] engaged in painting and sculpture. As a WWII survivor I am also active as a presenter and resource person for researchers on this topic. I have also written and illustrated several books for children.
