American Bald Eagle
Bald eagle sitting calmly during a snowstorm. They have thousands of feathers of different types to protect them from cold temperatures, harsh winds and snow and ice. As I was sitting in this snowstorm risking this shot, this eagle was warm. I have Raynaud's disease so therefore my blood flow can’t keep up when my body hits a certain temperature. My hands were numb by the time I got done but staying committed was worth this picture.
I am an award winning photographer. I have been taking pictures since I was a little girl. I once took pictures of everything I seen, I now focus on wildlife and insects.
