A Patient Mama
Our home is a dog rescue and animal sanctuary. I was out back taking photographs of our geese before they flew off for the season and noticed this little Barn Swallow was waiting patiently for me to finish my pictures so that she could get back into her nest and babies. I stopped. Her nest is just above my back patio door. We cross paths every day. This is a game we play daily. I took several photos of her quickly and let her get back to her babies. She’s precious.
I am a veteran 4th grade teacher and own a small dog rescue and animal sanctuary with my husband. We love all sorts of animals and share our home with all of them. Most of them, we are trying to find homes for, once we get them fully vetted, of course! This prize would help our Rescues tremendously.
