Thunderstorm Emotions

This is Tahoe, my 9 yr old lab. He and I were outside at night (he's afraid of the dark). Out of nowhere, there was huge thunder and lightning, both of us ran in the house as quickly as we could! Scared both of us!! I sat down and Tahoe jumped in my lap to be held (ever have a 120 lb dog on your lap?) After about 30 minutes or so, he stopped crying and got off of my lap. Notice in the photo, the tears coming out of his eye. That shows the emotions that our fur babies feel. He got a frosty paw
